Rice Krispie Holiday Party Snack Ideas

I was watching Cupcake Wars last night and was thinking wow, those cupcakes are a lot of work, so when a Rice Krispies commercial aired I thought that would be easier and more fun to work with, albeit messier too.

So today I searched the web for ideas to help inspire you to make fun Holiday Rice Krispie treats for your kids Holiday party next week without spending all weekend in the kitchen.

Here are 3 Rice Krispie Holiday ideas to get you started.

Rice Krispie Presents - Cut into squares, add icing to look like ribbons and bows.

Rice Krispie Ornaments are a little harder. Form in the shape of a ball, decorate with icing and even M&M's pushed into sides of Rice Krispie ball, top is made with red rope licorice and mini marshmallows.

Rice Krispie Snowman - The hardest in the group. Chocolate scarf, mini chocolate morsels used for eyes and mouth, peppermint candy for hat, and assorted candies or cookie decorations can be used for nose, buttons and hat topper.

We found these items online, but Rice Krispies web site has a few more ideas but some of those look like time bandits to me.
