A Halloween Birthday Party can be great fun as guests dress up in costumes and celebrate the Birthday boy or girl's special day, but sometimes the focus of the party is more Halloween than your child's birthday.

So how do you walk the fine line of celebrating a Birthday and having a Halloween party? This party game, Halloween Finish the Spooky Phrase, is simple and yet lots of fun as guests try to finish the phrases as the Birthday boy or girl would finish them. This game reminds me a little of Apples to Apples, but in this case you can choose any answer.

This game is fun for 5, 10 or 40 people to play.
While game players take about 3 minutes to answer the questions, going over the answers take much longer and more interesting as you ask guests to throw out their answer before you give the Birthday boy or girl's response. This allows for laughter, smiles, fun and surprisingly strange answers.

We think Finish the Spooky Phrase is great for Halloween Birthday parties, but it would also make for a dinner party, at the office and general activity at family Halloween gatherings. Overall it is lighthearted fun, that gets people talking and having a good. time.
